The
Manheim Area Chamber of Commerce was organized on February 27, 1960 by
a group of businessmen who felt the need for such an organization in Manheim.
It was established for the advancement of commercial, industrial, civic,
and general interests of the Borough of Manheim and surrounding townships.
The Chamber has undertaken many projects for the betterment of the community
and through the years, many local business persons have served as elected
officers and board members. These persons have provided the Chamber with
strong leadership which has resulted in a growing organization and a stronger
community.
